Below I have posted a reply I received from a client and friend.  Her reply is the reason I do what I do.  I am posting it in hopes that it will elevate someone else, and encourage perseverance and a positive mindset.  This is what it is all about:

Hi Paul,

Just wanted to thank you for all of the inspirational messages you've been posting on Facebook. The one that really resonated with me was about having big dreams and then having obstacles. So true and so easy to let those obstacles keep you from having what you want.

It's interesting, when you trained me, my biggest goal was looking hot. I came close too but never quite got to my ultimate goal. My priorities have shifted a lot in the last 6 years. I got married, had a baby, had another baby, got cancer, kicked cancer's ass and now after 6 months of chemo am figuring out what my true dreams are. So, thank you for the extra inspiration. I'm working hard to reach my new goal (15% body fat - WOOOOOOOO!), 5% to go (the hard part) and feeling strong (and sometimes sore and tired) and trying to mentally get where I need to be to be my own kind of champion.

Thanks for setting me on the right path to healthiness way back when we trained in that basement gym in the BMO building. I often think about the fun we had working out and making fun of each other. I can't wait to share some photos of the new me with you this spring when I make my dreams come true!

Hugs, and a WOOOOOOOOO from me,

-Karla
